Rugged design for early access to optional MagSafe accessories. The thickness and diameter aren't the same as the Apple original, but thicker works better for some applications. The diameter is also slightly larger. I love the stand but I hope I don't lose the magnetic plate that is kept on the back of the charger. No fixed cable like Apple's original, so you can use any length compatible USB-C/USB-C or USB-C/USB-A cable. The video shows an alternative cable wrapped around the charger in a standing position. The photo shows a modified Speck Presidio2, which didn't have MagSafe options at the time, with KKM and Apple chargers.
