All in all a great purchase!

The folio itself is attractive with an added bonus in the form of a front outer sleeve for multiple papers or a passport. There is also space inside for two credit or business cards. I love that you can just slide the iPad in from the right side, and the back of the lid has Velcro on the inside that keeps the iPad securely in place. The tome itself makes a fairly stable and well-made impression. Time will tell if they hold up but it looks like it and for the price I think I'll buy another one just in case because I love it so much. Notches provide full access to power, sound, voice and home button. The ability to rotate the iPad vertically or horizontally is very handy, with horizontal strips on the bottom cover that can be used to tilt the iPad for viewing, or you can just lay it flat or hold it. There's a small stretchy slot to hold the Apple Pencil, although I found I had to adjust it a bit when using the incline straps as it gets in the way a bit. There are lots of small round holes at the bottom for the sound to come out, although I had to gently press down some of the cut outs with a paper clip. They were hammered/cut out but stayed in place. While the iPad's extreme corners aren't fully covered or held in place, the folio itself extends beyond those corners, so I feel like it's fully protected should I drop it on a corner, which I do I've done more with an early mini-iPad in one of those plastic cases with self-locking flimsy covers that shatter the glass, so that's important to me. iPad next to the Apple Pencil notch. I changed my rotation on the iPad itself and then rotated it again with the folio and it ended up with the magnets on the wrong side, which confused me a little as I didn't hear the magnetic click.
