My main unit is far enough away that I have to reach out to change songs, plus the button is tiny. I ordered this to just keep my hand on the console and switch songs. It works, but there are a few problems. The button needs to be pressed too hard in my opinion. I also have to point the remote directly at the main unit, even if it's pointed at the dashboard and only a few feet away. However, it's better than holding your hand and manipulating tiny buttons on the main unit.
