Heat shrink tubing will not form a watertight joint
You crimp well and hold both wires securely, but the heat shrink tubing around the wire doesn't form properly. I've used both a flashlight and a heat gun, but the heat shrink still doesn't seal. We plan to use them to connect the RGB LEDs in our boat, so we'll look for an alternative.
