We bought this on purpose because our child life experts asked for it. When we asked why they told us that during their time at LPCH they were part of the Child Life team tasked with helping to develop this mobile phone. We will buy more of them if they tell us they need them. Angels for Hearts is a nonprofit organization that helps pediatric heart patients and their families return to normal in the hospital and during recovery. One way we do this is through our Wants, Wants and Needs program where Child Life can tell us what they need and we will get it for them. We also work with Santa during the holidays to make sure children with heart problems have the things they need and sometimes new parents may wish for a cell phone. During the holidays we ask our nanny what items they need for their patients. Mobile phones are always the main topic.
