About ten years ago I had a DVT (blood clot) in my leg. Subsequently, my doctor told me to wear compression stockings when traveling by plane or sitting for long hours. I wore custom made compression stockings from there until I started planning a future trip abroad that required a LONG flight. I measured my feet carefully and my size was usually between medium and large. I ordered a large men's swimsuit and found it too small to wear! Then I ordered an extra large compression suit and wore it around the house yesterday to try it out. They fit perfectly and were more comfortable and easier to wear than my custom stockings. They were a little difficult to put on but provided good support for both legs. Looks like it will work for all long haul flights, thanks!
