I'm a barber who needs a razor with a foil so skin isn't wasted on man's cuts. This works with very fine regrowing nape hair, which is what I need. I've read reviews and people just don't use it for its intended purpose: shaving, SHAVING, very short hair that has already been shaved by installing a clipper without a blade. If you try to shave your (male) face or awkward areas with it before tackling it with a commercial clipper, YES IT WILL TAKE YOUR HAIR AND TEAR YOUR SKIN. This applies to hair that is almost completely attached to the skin. And you have to clean it after every use (because if you don't, you'll be discarded). So if you're still hesitant to make that purchase, save $30 and go to the barber for $20 to get a professional trim and shave.
