Review on Canvas Outdoor Sneakers Men's Shoes: Explore with the Go Tour Loafers & Slip-Ons by Steven Adams

Looks good but VERY thin sole, not comfortable.

I liked the way these shoes look. At this price point they are obviously not as high quality or well made as the more expensive brands but they seem good for a season or two loafer... The gray color is the "cool" (blue tint) I like and it seemed - in appearance - to be very similar to TOMS. Unfortunately, that can no longer be true. These shoes are so uncomfortable that I had to leave them on the doorstep to carry them to the mailbox - and that's it. The soles are VERY thin (feel like a few layers of cardboard) and they're also FLAT - in fact, they felt a bit like some of those "negative heel" styles (designed to help with posture and by making the heel cup lower than the main base of the foot) - almost like walking down a slight incline - except you could tell it wasn't entirely intentional. If you flatten the back of the shoe and wear it as an open-back slip-on, it's a little more comfortable, but not by much. That's the only way to wear them given the thin sole, but unfortunately it doesn't help much. Also, the canvas is so rough and scratchy that I can't walk more than a block in it. Very sad because they looked amazing and I wanted to love them!

Pros
  • The shoes have non-slip soles, making them suitable for outdoor activities such as hiking or boating.
Cons
  • Poor breathability can lead to sweaty feet
