I bought this kite because it was an inexpensive stunt kite and I wanted something my son could fly (and probably crash) on the beach. They were not surprised when it was difficult not only to get airborne, but also to control the flight time. This applied to both moderate (10 mph) and strong (15 mph+) winds. I was only able to stabilize the kite after attaching a side tail to it. Even then, he fell quickly when he tried elementary tricks himself. I do not recommend this product. Spend $15-30 more and get a quality stunt kite.
