This device has first-class workmanship. Everything seems carefully designed to fit. There were no plastic covers or ill-fitting parts on anything. It accepted my Canon DSLR camera perfectly. The clamps are push type and hold up very well. My only minor complaint is that the shoulder pad is very stiff and uncomfortable and may need to be changed if you intend to use it for several hours, even if you just put a towel underneath. Second, while not very difficult, there were no written assembly instructions - only diagrams. The schemes helped, but not immediately, without trial and error. Otherwise great!
