Goes perfectly with my Boppy pillowcase. I haven't tested it yet for water resistance or waterproofness, but I'm satisfied with the quality. I was surprised that the Boppy brand case was only waterproof and not waterproof, so I was glad to find one. Feels like a terry towel. If you were okay with white, you really wouldn't need to put another lid on it if you didn't want to.
