I have recently suffered from a cleft tibia on both legs with the right leg being worse. I saw my doctor in August after 3 weeks of pain, I had to run 5k the first week of October and wanted to be able to run the entire event. Nothing worked for me. I stopped running, walking uphill and exercising, rested after work, and the ice only helped drown out the pain; NOTHING WORKED. The week before 5K I needed to do something to get through the race and that's when I found these compression sleeves. And sweet baby Jesus, they are amazing. I wore them to work every day (10 hour work day) and felt GREAT afterwards, no more hobbling or extra breaks. But the real challenge was wearing them to the race last Sunday. And you know what? I ran the ALL 5K and only walked 10 seconds to massage my calf. I feel great they work so well! I will recommend them to anyone I speak to about calf pain as they have really worked for me. I will definitely buy this brand in the future when I need more pairs. Size: I have a 17" calf (*cough*hills*cough*) so I bought the large size and it's narrow. to put it on the foot/heel but after that it's ok Material: The material used is of very good quality, it's soft and thicker, definitely worth the price.
