Review on Happi Pets Scratching Climbing Scratcher by Jennifer Franks

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Disappointing. Too small, flimsy and poor quality overall

I don't understand why a tree-scratching cat can be so small or weak. What's the point of scratching a tree if it's not thick or high enough for cats to reach and scratch! The material pills like crazy and comes off easily. There are sharp clamps all over the cactus cats will scratch which is unsafe. And there's a big visible gap in the middle of the cactus where you twist the cactus pieces together, making it very cheap. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because I was looking for a white wood with no carpet and it is the only wood that was almost white/ivory and didn't look ugly. There really needs to be more functional, carpet-free, neutral/white scratching posts and scratching posts that are tall, thick, and big enough (and look like they fit this decade in terms of style)!

Pros
  • Sturdy Construction If you have more than one cat, don't go past these cactus cat activity trees! With the extended scratching stand and large rug base with reinforcement thickness, cats can scratch, grab, climb, lie down, hide and stand up at the same time without shaking.
Cons
  • Doubtful
