Personally, I usually carry a pistol in a leg holster, but for the tactical pistol shooting course I had to get a belt holster and of course a belt to wear. Exactly what was needed: strong, just the right depth, strong enough to hold everything firmly in place. I was able to fit a holster on one side and a spare magazine holder on the other and everything stayed where it was supposed to for the two day course. If I were the first responder or had to hide carry I would definitely use this belt for that purpose.
