Just started playing with recycled straps for fun during the COVID-19 lockdown. I read reviews and other reviews to find the best quality buckle for my leather belt project. I thought I got the right shots. Requires line 20 or 24 latches and should be heavier. I received this box, NOWHERE does it say about this item, I got it's even line 24 which is exactly what I wanted, not even in the fine print. Made in China, of course. I have a mixed box. I thought the posts were 5/8" long, in fact they are only 1/4" long at best. Nickel clasps won't attach to my belt, but gold colored clasps will. I do not understand. They should all work the same, they don't fit in size. If you use thin material I think they will work fine. Be careful not to hit them too hard as they will deform the cap. For the price I should have known better. I was expecting to see line 24 somewhere in the description describing the content. I'll look elsewhere to finish my project as they don't go through the straps.
