These MAM nipples are the only kind my daughter has taken since she has gotten off of mine and onto bottle feeding. I tried many brands, types and styles, but this is the only one she would accept. The shape of these nipples makes it easier for baby to latch which made it so much easier to supplement and transition from breast to bottle.One thing I dislike about these nipples is that after washing them so many times, the vent flaps on the underside of the nipple will thin out and separate causing liquid to continuously leak from the nipple. I've purchased several of the MAM bottles and replacement nipples and am happy with the brand overall.At 8-9 months we tried going up to the level 3 flow but it is much faster of a flow (than the level 2) and kept causing my daughter to stop for breath or start choking from getting too much too quickly. The level 2 flow seems just right; not to fast and not too slow. We switched back to the level 2 flow and it's working well for us.
