I needed a small trolley for brochure making tools and supplies to free up desk space in my office. My paper cutter is huge and heavy (40 lbs) so I chose this one because it's made out of solid beech hardwood. Although the product arrived only in its original box and box, it was so solid that even the local UPS gorillas did not damage it. Cosmetically, the cart is a simple natural mission design, with the only downsides being the wood selected has a mottled, mismatched texture and there is a knot on the underside of the center shelf that has been filled with a mismatched light gray mass. Assembly required unfolding the cart, inserting the wheels into the base of the legs, attaching the top shelf with four screws using the included hex wrench, and inserting four wooden dowels to hide the screw holes. I had to use a rubber mallet on the plugs as the fit was too tight for a manual install. It took less than 10 minutes and went smoothly. Careful use of the paper cutter results in a very slight rocking of the carriage, although no sound is heard as it hits the wood; it seems strong enough for many uses. Designed as a printer cart with two shelves underneath for paper, the cart should do the job well. The advantage is that it can be easily folded and stored in a closet or corner. Although the distributor has offices in the US and Canada, as can be seen on the packaging, the product came with a "Made in Thailand" sticker.
