There appear to be a few reviews on this product, but many appear to be based on free or short-term experience. I have had this mouse pad for over 3 years and use it daily. To be honest, I have no particular complaints. perm. Yes, the mat does curl up a bit around the edges (seen in my photo), but this has never affected use. Never. It might not look cool, but it works very well. This mouse pad in the photo is also 3 YEARS old. no scratches, no stains, no distortion, nothing. This is a durable and comfortable mouse pad that has stood the test of time year after year. The wrist rest is comfortable, not too hard and not too soft. just right for me. If you're concerned about looks, this might not be for you. If quality, durability and ease of use are important, I would definitely recommend this rug. Hope this helped!
