I received this 4x4 picture frame which size is hard to find. The opening of the mat is slightly larger than 4x4. I figured it would be a little smaller to work with a 4x4 image and cover the edges. So I took a larger print and trimmed it. There was dirt on the back of the mat, but it was covered with what looks like cheap brown cardboard backing. The glass was very dirty and difficult to clean. I washed it and then used glass cleaner three times. It comes with a plexiglass alternative in case the glass breaks. I'm glad I didn't have to use it as it wasn't very clear. It's easy to put a picture in a frame. In general, a normal purchase. At least it wasn't expensive.
