Review on ๐Ÿ‘ถ Peg Perego Rialto Booster Seat, Berry: Ultimate Comfort and Safety for Your Child by Julie Smith

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Toddlers can easily remove this tray. Bad design and difficult to clean!

I bought a Peg Perego Rialto for my youngest daughter almost a year ago because I wanted a portable high chair. I had this thing for less than a month (she was 9 months old at the time) before she learned how to easily detach the tray from the chair as the 'locking' mechanism holding the tray in place is very weak is. After another 6 months, she learned to unbuckle the three-point belt no matter how tight I tightened it, and continues to eat, stand and dance in a chair. The last drop came a week ago when she got out of the dishes, got up, leaned against the tray and the whole tray fell out and she threw herself forward and banged her head on the table. Not only is this product ineffective, it is not even safe. My child isn't a genius or particularly exuberant, but easily learned to make this high chair utterly inefficient for holding on to their own tray. I sincerely think they should be recalled and I can't believe that such a cheap product can be so expensive! I would happily buy the $25 first year booster pack that their older sisters use and it turned out to be much better for the intended purpose. I'm not trying to be rude but I think these chairs are unsafe and a robbery! I would also like to add that small pillows are completely useless, since the child learns to put them down very quickly and they wear out easily. I believe this product was developed by people who really understood children on some level.
