It's very bright and the remote control doesn't work.
The dimmer only dims the LED wave effect. It would be much better if you could eclipse the stars and moon. Also if I leave it on for my daughter to sleep or at a party for example, it randomly turns off (timer off). The remote control isn't good, only some buttons work (if they work at all) and it doesn't even turn on/off. For the price I would have liked better features. Do yourself a favor and come over. Better for the same price and I'm sure the features actually work properly.
