Marshmallow Cloud of LOVE! The perfect adult mini body pillow!

Holy beans I LOVE this guy! I am a person forever recognized as a child. I still love games, toys and stuffed animals. I know I always will! However, I got this smooshy mooshy bear for medicinal purposes and knowing that my causes are related to diseases shared by many, I thought I could share my findings. FOR SCIENCE! (and for other people with back pain) So yes, my back hurts. It can come out anywhere - between my shoulders, under my rib cage, but my most sensitive and injury prone area is my lower back. I really got over it and although I no longer have sciatica, I did and it was excruciating. While my drive hasn't quite let up in a few years, that was in the past and it was almost unbearable. It's now mostly pain and sometimes "broken" and pinched nerves, but actually it's not as bad as a herniated disc. The reverse tactic is to sleep with a pillow under your knee. I sleep on my side and the pillow helps keep my hips and lower back more aligned and supported because when I'm not aligned and supported I've been known to literally roll my back in my sleep. I said "withdrawal tactics" and I meant it. My dear friend loves to tease me that I'm the only person he knows who can mess and rip his back apart in his sleep, dammit! I'm GOOD at that! My little chenille pillow that I've been using for almost a decade is finally starting to die. I loved it and it has served me well, but it's time for a replacement. So I looked everywhere for something supportive but not rigid. Soft but not without support. Something high quality but not super expensive. Something cute enough to put on my bed, not another weird machine to shove into a corner or box. I came across the panda version of this guy but found that the polar bear is $20 less and while I love pandas, I love polar bears too! Anyway, I grabbed this guy and fell in love with him. Here are the basics: Comfort Level: Exceptional! The combination of padding and velor-like stretch fabric makes the bear feel like it's filled with cotton candy memory foam. The fabric is so soft and smooth. It should also be noted that since the bear seems to be made specifically for children, it has a hard nose or eyes, everything is embroidered - paw pads, sleeping eyes, mouth, and then there is a soft velor nose. Safe and SOFT! :-) Quality: I can't say how this product will hold up over time and I have yet to wash or clean it, but I always update my reviews when I have news to share. However, this guy pretends to be well done. The product is made in China by "Niuniu Daddy" and I wasn't that impressed with other items (other than other super soft plush toys) but the polar bear looks well made. The pattern is good - exactly like the picture on Revain. There isn't a badly cut piece or bad stitching that makes my polar bear look weird or wobbly. The fabric feels high quality. Seams appear to be folded well and sewn securely, except for the right side where the bear appears to be hand-stitched. This sting is a little more questionable, but it's certainly not a crappy sting. All I can say is that the bear was sewn in after the stuffing, and you can tell by the smooth, short-pile velor fabric. I'll let you know if anything goes wrong - as if I'm not a kid lugging around my bear, it's used every night to support my back - so I expect it to wear out a bit over time. Functionality: Oh it's perfect behind my back! He's tall enough that his butt goes under my thigh while his head rests on my arm and his nose rests on my chest. Again, it's soft but springy and amazingly supportive. It's literally so soft and plush, and the firmness of the filling makes it feel like you're relaxing on a cloud, or maybe a marshmallow. But it's still a dream and the comfort this bear gives my back, hips and upper body leaning on it really helps me sleep. Even when I'm sitting in bed, reading, watching TV, or playing computer games, I've found that it works GREAT under my knees to help keep me in the correct position and keep me in that position. Cost: I got mine for about $39. Does that seem to be the current price for it? Anywhere between $30-50, with a panda around $40-60. If you don't need a panda for the reasons a panda needs one then I recommend the Polar for cost savings and because it also comes with a soft, removable and washable shirt which helps ensure it lasts longer than poor naked bear panda stays beautiful and protected for a year. To a child this can be an excellent or perhaps expensive stuffed animal for someone but I want all the details sewn together so nothing gets broken or choked on. But as a pain reliever, it's priceless. You can't really put a figure on that and I think it's a bargain! Conclusion: An incredibly great product. I'm already in love with him. I've already towed it to family and friends for a sleepover over the weekend. I made everyone hug him and everyone loved him too. Again this is a good quality product and not expensive especially if you use it as a supportive body pillow! :-) Oh, and a little note: I'm 5ft 6in if that helps you gauge if this would work for you as a body pillow. I've also included some photos of the bear on my double bed (there are standard panties!) to give you a visual idea of its size. Also a photo of his head and his head with my hand resting on it. I didn't push, just leaned on him with the weight of my arm and he helpfully kissed him on camera! :D In the last picture it's below my knees so you can see how awesome a little body pillow it is. That's love, folks, and if he dies one horrible way, I'll get another. But let's hope that doesn't happen soon. I'm attached to my "puff"! :-) Good luck and hope this review helps!
