I tried it on my daughter and it fit my neck well so I bought the same one. My problem is the vertebrae in my neck, pain that can lead to a transcervical migraine. I don't like taking migraine meds, so when my neck hurts, I put a peanut on a soft (not rock hard) yoga block to get it at the right height, lie on my back, and put pressure on my head and back my skull are relieved. A great way to prevent migraines. The package includes instructions for additional ways to use peanuts for pain relief. Some people's reviews mention that peanuts aren't soft enough for them, but for me the pressure on the back of the head is perfect.
