This is a great shower head and I prefer the look and feel of the classic High Sierra mode (I've had both. Note that this one seems to be a little louder). because the surround part reflects a little more sound towards you. However, this is a slight difference in sound. I am using this with a matching 12" High Sierra extension for a larger shower head than the one fitted to my apartment as I am quite tall. The mount is about 6 feet tall and I wanted the water to fall from the top. With the extension and this shower head installed, the height is about 6.5 feet and the angle is better, with a more downward jet. the included trickle valve, although it reduces the height by about an inch. You may not realize how much water you're wasting by lathering up in the shower! Do this and then turn it back on for the final rinse. Overall, this facility will save you money on both your water bills and your water bills. It can also be a significant saving. I recommend High Sierra Showerheads to anyone and everyone. Made in the USA, products are well thought out and engineered to be extremely reliable and durable, yet outperform anything else on the market.
