I hate using printers because something always goes wrong. I am happy to report that this is not the case with this printer which was a pleasure to use compared to the Canon Pixma. It took some time to install as it required the printer to be connected to the internet to update and print wirelessly. I would say around the 45-60 meter peaks to get everything up to date. The WiFi settings work fine on my old MacBook Pro 2013 and also when scanning documents. The phone connection is not compatible, but Epson has a feature that allows you to set up email for this printer so you can print from anywhere! I used these great features when I wasn't home and needed to print something for my parents at home. The caveat is that the printer must be in sleep mode for this feature to work unless the person at home turns the printer on. The main advantage of this printer is that the ink is cheap. It comes with a bottle to fill the tank which is a delight. The printer has already printed over a hundred documents, and the ink tank is slightly lowered. You can buy 532 ink in the aftermarket and it will work with this printer. Documents on an inkjet printer come out remarkably clear. It's not as sharp as a laser/LED printer, although for me it's perfect. I enjoy printing with this printer and can only recommend it.
