I thought they were 15cm long. It's just under 5 in total, but 1.5 of that is the part you hold and press. So that gives only three inches of extra range. I am currently dealing with a pinched nerve in my neck that has practically paralyzed my shoulders. I can't reach both arms very far. I have them in hopes that they would help me pack pens etc out of reach on my desk. I have a couple of grasping hands for picking things up off the floor but they are too long to use with my desk so I tried to find something smaller but I need at least twice the reach they give and the button is definitely just uncomfortable to take such things. However they are perfect for storing small things that can roll away, screws, beads etc so I will not be returning them I will find a use for them.
