Bought for my kids. They needed one each and I didn't want to spend a lot. I wanted to get the typical boring, nasty plastic or wrought iron coasters. Then I stumbled across it. What bribed me was that it came with two coasters. PERFECT! The price is very reasonable. After receiving this the quality of the glass was good. I think he's hardened. It's not as thick as I would like, but it's thick enough. It's not thin, where I doubt its ability to carry weight. The quality has only deteriorated with the metal frames. They are lightweight, made from cheap aluminum alloy. The threads aren't well aligned, so if you're not careful you can easily mix them up. The metal stand is definitely something that once you put it on you will never touch it again. Once attached, they are strong. They also came with rubber feet to protect the table top. Overall amazing glass coasters (quirky) at a very good price. I use them with 24" and 27" LCD monitors with no problems. I think 27 inches is the maximum. Also, the monitor stand will be larger than the surface of the glass.
