Very good and durable product, need better drywall anchors.

This review is dedicated to Qual Gear's double shelf. Bought a double and triple shelf from them. Everything was packed very well. All items listed were present. Although it is easy to deduce from this how it can and should be installed, I still recommend reading the instructions, especially for beginners or advanced users. It's also important to have the right tools to install this. If you don't you will surely hurt yourself as well as some issues I see in these reviews. The different types of materials you install it in will require different tools. I recommend you don't do what most people seem to do, which is skip the actual drilling of the pilot hole for the studs or wall anchors. You will struggle to screw it in and will most likely scratch or damage the metal bracket. Please don't take a screwdriver and drill a hole in the drywall, do it right. Using a drill and the included mini level, make sure you drill the pilot holes straight and not at an angle. pin installation. This is a disadvantage of this product when installed in drywall rather than directly into wall studs or concrete/brick. cement / block. I recommend just moving it around and saving yourself the hassle of buying something and installing it directly onto the wall stud if it comes with drywall. The central bracket is made of metal. The shelves are of good thickness. The brackets that hold the glass are also made of metal. I had a problem installing the black plastic plugs. Some had extra plastic burrs and had to be removed. The space in the middle of the bracket is difficult to use for its installation. I recommend inserting the cap slightly into the hole. Use a piece of wood larger than the lid but smaller than the center cutout. Place it on the plastic cover and lightly tap the wood with a hammer. If you use something sharp, the plastic is definitely thin enough that you'll break or chip the plastic. When screwing it into the wall, you want to do it in equal steps. Don't screw it all the way into the wall and then screw it all the way into the others. I was a bit hesitant based on some of the glass breaking reviews. I have a feeling some of these people forgot to put the rubber vinyl cover where the screw goes before inserting and tightening the screw. Direct contact of the screw with the glass will surely break the glass. The rubber acts as a pressure absorber, just like the soles on the soles of your shoes serve your feet. I squeezed them pretty hard. I never thought the glass would break. I recommend leaving the protective foam on the sides and front of the glass but removing it from the back until installed to minimize fingerprints. He sure loves to keep your fingers in oil on the glass. Overall I am very happy with this product and would recommend it.
