Received the duvet in excellent condition as promised. Before putting it on the bed, I washed the comforter according to the washing instructions on the label. When I pulled the comforter out of the washing machine, there was about a cup full of thick, heavy threads in the machine's tub. I shook out the wet blanket and much more wet "lint" flowed out of the blanket. When I put the duvet in the dryer, so much lint fell out of the duvet that I had to clean the filter every 10 minutes throughout the drying cycle. The photos above show a comforter and a pile of lint from the washer and dryer (about 2 cups). This pile does not include fluff that is thrown in the trash can. The blanket looks just as good worn, but I haven't used it because I don't want to wash and dry it in the future. I understand that cotton blankets produce a lot of lint and my experience may be normal, but I wasn't expecting this!
