This might be the best camping purchase I've ever made! I bought for a hike with a few other families, all the adults were very appreciative of the good hot coffee in the morning. Everyone agreed that the coffee was delicious. I've also used it to boil water for hot chocolate. It is easily transferred. After reading other reviews about dents, I shipped it in a crate. Mine didn't wrinkle or leak and was perfect for what I needed. Also, as with any stovetop coffee maker, take plenty of time to spice up your coffee. If you try to boil/spike it up too quickly, you will end up with coffee grounds in your coffee. On a cold morning over medium-high heat, I boiled a full 20-cup pot of ice water in about 35 minutes.
