first try. They are unlike any cotton circles I have ever used. They appear to be a pressed product, not much like cotton. More sponge x cotton. There they appear thick and have good absorbency; but once the liquid penetrates them, they appear quite thin. This is a strange phenomenon. I'm used to a regular cotton pad holding liquid, but this one isn't as strong. I honestly can't tell if I really like her or just like her. I use them and I don't swear at them or anything like that. So they can't be that bad. I usually buy Korean cotton that can be split in two, but this one is very different. I'll end up having both on hand for different situations. They are good for preparing a clean slate for eye makeup to prep foundation and shadow, lips to prep makeup and lipstick, and brown for gel, lipstick or pencil.
