In fact, they are yellow and made of cast iron!
There is another coaster that says yellow but is actually toffee. This one is actually yellow and enameled cast iron. No chips, very durable. And I appreciate that it comes with extra "feet" so it doesn't scratch surfaces underneath. Large enough for a round casserole/grill pan. I bought 3 by the way.
