I bought this for my new iPad Pro 12.9 2020. It's a very hard plastic and a bit difficult to open, but it's not too bad. What I don't like is the handle on the back, that's why I bought it. The strap is made of very sturdy leather or possibly leather-like vinyl. It has two small buttons to which leather is attached. I had to make it longer so I had room to move the strap up my wrist a bit if I needed to use two hands for something at work. It was very difficult to reattach the strap to those two buttons. The strap quantity is small and it is very difficult to put it back on after you make it a little bigger. My last bag had velcro which was nice, flexible and easily adjustable. I'm waiting for a new SIM card, so I haven't closed the case yet. Once I've done that, I'll report the rest of the case. The color isn't as bright as we'd like, either, but that's not a problem.
