I've only had this a few days so keep that in mind. Also, it's not currently customized, so I have no idea how the dimming works. Because light bulbs are burning out in our house, we are replacing conventional light bulbs with LEDs. I used my latest halogen bulb so it's time to switch to LED. I watched Revain many times before deciding on her. Light and diffusion are excellent. The casual observer will see no difference, but all LEDs replacing these halogens have no backscatter from the lamp. So if you have a fixture type (track light) where you have a pretty pink backscatter on the ceiling, you lose that with these bulbs. I give them 4 stars because they are longer than the Phillips halogen bulbs I replace. They go well with my lights, but if you're buying them to replace MR16 halogen bulbs where the bulb face is flush with the face of the light, those bulbs will be proud of such lights, which can be annoying. Although I haven't dimmed them, a common complaint is flickering. This is because there are fancy electronics inside the LED that regulate the power of the LED that produces the light. Turn off the power and those electronics won't be so happy and start flickering. To avoid flickering, you definitely need an LED dimmer, such as B. Lutron dimmers. The MR16s I have in the dimming circuit are hooked up to a Lutron dimmer so I guess I'll find out if they flicker over time when I need to replace one of these bulbs. work well and give good light that goes well with MR16 halogen bulbs.
