I love this kabuki brush! Unlike others in the shape of a soccer ball, this one is shaped like a teardrop. My guess is that only one end is tapered and not both ends as the wide end helps to cover wide strokes more effectively. The bristles are also very soft but very dense. I always worry about wasting my foundation if it gets stuck between the bristles, but I don't think that's the case with this brush for how dense it is. It's also easy to clean - I just rinse it out and apply some antibacterial soap to the bristles, rub the brush with a clean hand, then wring out the soapy water completely and let it air dry.
