With current gas prices and food costs rising, who wouldn’t be happy to find generic Tom’s at $25.00 a pair? As a teacher on my feet all day, I’ve been exceedingly pleased with Tom’s and Bob’s, and I’ve worn them for years. That said, these are definitely not their equals. After one hour of wear, I felt foot pain in places my feet have never hurt beforehand. There is no support, and a sole bump on the opposite side of the arch which places unusual strain on your ankles.I wore these without socks to make a quick trip to the grocery store and returned with irritation, itching, and burning.Now, I wish I had invested in one regular priced pair of Tom’s instead of two foot torture devices. That’s about what these shoes are good for.I certainly don’t recommend them at all.
