First, the height is right! I used to have 6 inch stands that made me jump to get in and out of bed almost every day. Second, you still have enough space under the bed to slide storage boxes and other items underneath without having to move around the bed. frames, causing you to lose valuable disk space. Third, I like the cutout on the riser. This is the exact shape and size of the bed frame wheels. I had trouble with my last few risers because they only had a round, flat surface. They fell off easily when the kids jumped on the bed. Last but not least, they look great under a bed skirt. It actually looks like furniture legs. When I went to take pictures I had to do a double take!
