This is a good product. I got this as a tester because my husband's college buddy has a son who's birthday is coming up and is about the age to start practicing fine motor skills like drawing and writing. As myself and with a lot of experience raising young children, I was intrigued when I found this. I know how hard it is to always have paper and drawing supplies on hand to keep them entertained and fingers crossed they don't break every piece of crayon or draw on paper with markers or whatever. It seemed like a great solution. light, not many details, pleasing to the eye, you can put the stylus on the right or left, etc. Although I've tried, I doubt how good it is for children. When I write there are sometimes spots and I don't press as hard and I'm sure little kids put a lot more pressure on their little hands than I've seen but I think if they just erase after each letter it does might not matter. There are also a few permanent blemishes on the sides that aren't too noticeable but are still a downside. Otherwise I like the basic idea of this one! Probably still great for kids (unless they have OCD like me). Love the ease of use and the color change! Might try another brand as there seems to be a lot of revain out there and decide from there. I can keep one for myself to take quick notes. We will see.
