Very low performance, which is good but also has a major downside. I've used these things from other vendors like Sharper Image and I've always gone insane sticking them up my nose because they're too aggressive. This is Wahl's #1 device in the industry, and they've softened the motor, which is great as the buzz doesn't enter your head before the tip of the device enters your nose. The only problem is that it can be too tame and therefore doesn't cut as well as small barber's scissors. If you have someone to help you with scissors in hand then go that route, if not then it's actually better than some of the other brands but again a little underpowered.
