I recently bought a 120GB iPod (I'd rather have loads of music on hand than in the cloud). Since I dropped my latest MP3 player (Zune HD) and the screen cracked, I bought an iPod case. Like other reviewers, I didn't like the silicone case. This case was the best I found. The back is transparent and the front is black aluminum. The aluminum is slightly knurled to keep the iPod in place. The charger and headphone cutouts are well cut and in the right places. The case will definitely protect your device from chips and scratches. I think it's important to note that it doesn't cover the actual screen. In case anyone cares. There's also no padding inside the case, but I didn't find it necessary. Overall I like the case and the protection it offers.
