I don't know why they are called shorties.
These socks are actually quite large, more like ankle socks. They also don't have handles on the bottom, so they can be slippery. They are very cute and fit as expected.
Pros
- I love the multiple designs on these socks! Absolutely worth the price.
Cons
- The backpack may not fit all sizes of little girls, resulting in ill-fitting socks.
