If you are looking for a smaller backpack for kindergarten kids, this is way more than what you want.
Buying and returning several backpacks, I can tell you that the seller's idea of a kindergarten backpack and mine are two completely different animals. This one is very cute (like most of them) but it's a lot bigger than I imagine. Out of sheer frustration, I decided to let it go. It is very roomy and has many pockets but if a little one fills it full I think it will hurt her back as it is more of a size that a younger older girl would wear. In terms of longevity it was over Christmas and we only went back to school for 3 days before they pulled the Covid card again.
