So far I have completely ignored the manufacturer's instructions and used this on my face, I've been doing this for about a month and so far I haven't noticed much of a difference. , but that's not why I'm giving this item a five-star rating; it can't be used on the face so can't whine about it not working there (yet), but I'll keep trying to see if my beard is stubborn; My skin is very sun resistant so it doesn't cause me any discomfort so why not? The reason for this great rating is that it has worked fantastic everywhere I have used it. When you use it for the first time you will be a little surprised, each flash feels like a slight burn (because it is), but the feeling quickly disappears, and if you are like me and your skin is not particularly sensitive , within minutes it looks like something happened. You will most likely smell burnt hair, this is normal. I used it once a week for several weeks. an area. and now it seems permanently straight so i will let it go for a while and see how long it takes for the hair to grow back. I also used it for the same time. another area. and it still has some persistent blurring, but it's definitely less than a fraction of what it used to be, and at this rate it would take a few more treatments before then. this area. just as clean and smooth as the rest. TL; DR: Works great as promised, just follow the instructions and don't be too frustrated if you use it in an outdated way. face i will go back and update this review.
