I have a round cot so I had to find a mattress topper to fit the cot. It is difficult to find round mattress pads for a crib. I bought two of these mattress pads so I always have a clean one on hand if something goes through the sheets. I like her. They are well made, good quality and fit well. I have used Oxyclean every time my son has messed them up and cleaned stains from the pad. They've survived quite a few washes and never seeped through the mattress. My only issue with them is that the top padding is almost felt so everything sticks to it when you wash it; Velcro from bib, hair, children's socks. That's the only reason I don't give this product a 5. Since I don't wash them all the time and the surface area is small, removing things from the top isn't a huge inconvenience. It looks like there should be some cotton on the felt surface. The surface seems to be quite water repellent and absorbent and I think the material is quite stain resistant so those are a couple of plus points for the surface. I would recommend protectors for their quality. Just be aware you will be pulling hair and bibs off them.
