This Carry-on has good zippers, a TSA lock, and non-zippered internal pocket for your laptop. Once open, it has 2 pockets, one on the door to hold a laptop and some flat items like files or notebooks, and one giant section for everything else. You could fit everything you need in here as it's very spacious, but it only has bunge cords to hold your stuff in place, and doesn't offer the convienece of having other pockets for shoes or toiletries, they all go into the main pocket. Once sealed up it's pretty sturdy and likely won't get damaged during the flight.
