I was surprised when I unpacked the radio, the display had a scratch and other defects. When switched on, the battery was almost empty and the alarm clock was set for 6:10 p.m. Looks like a used radio. I also noticed that a strong local AM radio was producing hiss, no other radio in my collection has trouble picking up this station without hiss. After all, strong FM stations can be heard on frequencies that shouldn't be heard. Another radio I bought, the Retekess V115, had none of these issues and sounded much better too.
