This product comes in great packaging and is easy to attach to the air vent. My iPhone XS Max stays, but you must have metal on the top of the phone. The magnet won't hold the phone when the metal is put in a nice and strong protective case. You need to attach it to the outside. My wife has a removable sock and we attached a metal circle to it and that's how it works great, a little wobbly but holds up well. I have used Syncwire products before and have been happy with them. I love the simplicity and quality of their products. I found this phone holder to work well with vents, but any product with a vent needs the vent to interact with it. My vents move very slightly and when you put your phone on the mount, the vent moves down to compensate, the vent blows down, but you can adjust the mount to keep the phone upright.
