This was very similar to another bookshelf I had previously for my 13" MacBook Pro (2015) that lasted a year and a half before the rubber band lost its ability to hold the MacBook Pro in place Keeping it in place. This one was a lot cheaper. It fits the case well and I liked the look. But a month after I started using it, the zipper got stuck when I opened it. As I pulled further, the zips broke Few teeth on the zipper and the zipper left cosmetic scars on the aluminum bezel of the MacBook screen (see photos).The plastic holding the case to the top of the MacBook also ripped shortly after.The quality appears to be much poorer.Bad buy.
