Not so bad. I was so bored in quarantine that I decided to give it a try. I rejoiced until it arrived and then pinched when it was in my hand. Will this beautiful and elegant device become an instrument of torture? Does it get worse than childbirth? So my fearless husband grabbed it from my hand and rubbed it up his arm. He said it didn't hurt, just a slight tingling sensation. So I tried it dry on one leg. The pain isn't severe, but it's not the worst either. I tried the other leg in the shower. Stitch less but longer. I personally found the faster setting more comfortable when you can say a device designed to pull out hairs by the root can be comfortable. I even shrugged my armpits a bit, encouraged. After using unscented lotion and my feet were red for a few hours, they are now silky smooth. As I hate shaving but don't want my legs to look like hobbit legs I love this product and will continue to epilate to my heart's content.
