Not for stand-alone

I bought these because one reviewer said he/she placed the keeper on a shelf. Well, that doesn't work. The back of this keeper is open. It's meant to be attached to a surface (wall, cupboard, whatever). That surface then becomes the back of the keeper so the bags don't fall out. I've attached one to a painted sheet rock wall, one to a cupboard, and one to a garage fridge--all with the supplied double-sided tape. So far so good.It is a little smaller than I'd like, but who needs all those bags anyway? :)
